New energy customers include ALSTOM Power Inc., AmerenUE and Dakota Electric Association
Irving, Texas - February 13, 2001 - Aquire, Inc., the leading worldwide provider of Web-based, organizational charting software, announced today that ALSTOM Power Inc., AmerenUE (NYSE: AEE) and Dakota Electric Association have selected OrgPublisher for Intranets™ to chart employees via corporate intranets.
AmerenUE purchased OrgPublisher for Intranets to chart the 800 workers in its Calloway County, Mo. power plant. "We use OrgPublisher because it automatically feeds information from our files," said Gary Tichelkamp, general manager at AmerenUE. "That has strong appeal." Based in St. Louis, the Ameren Corp. companies provide energy services to 1.8 million customers in a 44,500-square-mile area of Missouri and Illinois. AmerenUE is the largest electric utility in Missouri and the third-largest distributor of natural gas. Both an electric and natural gas utility, AmerenCIPS, another company division, serves a 20,000-square-mile territory - the largest geographic area of any Illinois-based company.
Another new customer in the energy industry, ALSTOM Power employs 50,000 people worldwide and has annual revenue of approximately $10 billion.
