DoubleStar, Inc. And Aquire, Inc. Announce Partnership To Extend Organizational Charting Products Availability
WEST CHESTER, Pa. and IRVING, Texas — May 19, 2003 — DoubleStar, a leading provider of workforce analytics solutions, and Aquire, Inc., an international provider of Web-based organizational charting software, today announced that they have signed a strategic partnership agreement. By joining Aquire’s Alliance Network Program, DoubleStar will now be able to offer interactive organization charting functionality integrated with their Workforce Information Factory™ solution.
DoubleStar’s Workforce Information Factory is a robust, multi-dimensional human capital management toolset. Built on a technology-neutral platform that leverages existing HR applications, the Workforce Information Factory synthesizes multiple data sources, generates decision making analytics, and provides insight about an organization’s most important assets – its employees.
"We have found that one of the keys to successfully delivering human capital metrics is to drive relevant data into the right hands," said Rose McGinnis, product manager of the Workforce Information Factory. "To do this, organizational relationship information must be accessible, easy-to-update, and accurate. Our partnership with Aquire will allow our clients to dynamically create and publish organizational structures that enable the timely distribution of workforce metrics to the appropriate audience."
Aquire’s OrgPublisher uses existing data to automatically generate a graphical, interactive organizational chart published to a company’s Intranet. Data can be accessed from virtually any database, including IBM, Microsoft, Oracle and enterprise-resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP and PeopleSoft. Users can view accurate org charts, reporting structures, employee profiles and contact information, as well as utilize search capabilities for additional information access.
"We are always seeking new strategic relationships that further our aggressive market saturation strategy. We feel DoubleStar is an ideal partner to help us achieve that goal," said Lois Melbourne, chief executive officer of Aquire. "In the past few years, we have seen a significant change in the methods by which we reach potential customers. The Alliance Network Program continues to prove itself as a valuable asset in extending our sales channel."
