Mobile OrgPublisher™ For Palm™ Handhelds Provides Instant Access to Critical Employee Contact Information
- Aquire Extends OrgPublisher for Intranets™ Functionality to Palm OS™ Platform

IRVING, Texas — APRIL 9, 2003 — Aquire, Inc. today announced the availability of Mobile OrgPublisher for Palm handhelds, the first organizational management application available for Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs) operating the Palm OS platform. In conjunction with Aquire’s flagship product, OrgPublisher for Intranets™, Version 4.E., anyone without immediate access to a desktop PC can access critical employee contact information. According to a recent Gartner Dataquest report, Palm emerged as the PDA leader, shipping nearly 4.5 million of the 12.1 million units in 2002.

Pocket OrgPublisher, the company’s initial offering, extends OrgPublisher to any PDA operating the Microsoft® Pocket PC 2002 platform and allows end users to access their company’s org chart. A Blackberry version is currently in beta testing and will be available in May 2003. Mobile OrgPublisher is a SIIA Codie Award finalist in the category of best Mobile Product or Service. Winners will be announced May 6, 2003.

The OrgPublisher application uses existing human resource data to automatically generate graphical, interactive org charts containing as little as 100 employees or as many as one million employees. Existing human resource data can be accessed from virtually any source, such as Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, ADP or Excel and Outlook email lists. With the introduction of Mobile OrgPublisher, end users may now view accurate org chart information via the company’s Intranet, Web browser, paper copy and now Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) device. Org charts are kept up-to-date by utilizing the familiar synchronization method via a desktop cradle.

"Enterprise communication is the primary justification for PDA distribution among employees," said Lois Melbourne, chief executive officer and co-founder of Aquire, Inc. "There is nothing more important than accounting for your employees and having access to current and accurate contact information regardless of whether you are at your desk or away from the office. We have seen increased interest among our customers for the Mobile OrgPublisher application as a strategic element in disaster recovery planning and preparations."

Mobile OrgPublisher is free of charge for OrgPublisher, Version 4.E., Enterprise Edition customers. For more information about Mobile OrgPublisher for Palm, Pocket PC or Blackberry devices, please call 888-Org-Chart (674-2427). To download and use Mobile OrgPublisher free for 30 days, visit the Aquire Web site at www.Aquire.com.
