Software Industry Pioneer & Veteran Mike Muhney Joins Aquire Team

IRVING, Texas - October 4, 2004 — Aquire, Inc., an international provider of fully web-based organizational charting software solutions, today announced the addition of Mike Muhney to the management team.
Mike began his career with IBM and was professionally trained in their intensive Sales School. In 1986, Mike co-founded Contact Software International after co-inventing ACT!®, which has been credited with pioneering what became today’s CRM (Customer Relationship Management) industry. Mike developed and executed all international activities for ACT!, including sales, marketing, business development, operations and management. As a result, Contact Software established a worldwide network of wholesale distribution, retail and channel partner markets in 23 countries. Contact Software was sold to Symantec Corporation in 1993.
Mike’s extensive professional experience also includes co-founding CelebritySoft, Inc. with Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley, working with Deloitte Consulting as a senior manager and worldwide speaker on strategic implementation services for the successful deployment of CRM applications, building a lucrative partnership with Hewlett-Packard and Baan in Europe, serving as executive vice president and general manager of International Operations at Interact Commerce Corporation where he was responsible for their small and medium enterprise CRM product, SalesLogix® and their original system, ACT!, which they re-acquired from Symantec. Most recently, Mike has been serving as speaker and advisor on the subject of effective business relationships.
